Published in the March 2011 Scrapbooking Memories Magazine!

Over the recent months, I've been submitting lots of my digital layouts to Scrapbooking Memories Magazine and I've been fortunate to have a few published. In the March 2011 edition (Vol.13, No. 4), there is a layout of my eldest DS starting his first day of school back in 2009. It was made with digital goodies from Dianne Rigdon Design and I love how the blended photo looked awesome taking over the whole page. Mine is the layout in the bottom right corner. Next up in May, I have two more layouts coming and a profile of myself in the Digi Zone section!

I'm featured in The Daily Scrapper!

I'm honoured to be featured in Issue 13 of The Daily Scrapper.  I have decorated a Making Memories photo cube for their fantasy theme this issue and the digital kit that I got to play with is just fabulous - PLAY DAYS from Createwings Designs and Holliewood Studios (you can purchase it from Oscraps, but look out for the discount coupon on Page 25 with my project).

Gentle Morning kit from Gypsy Couture

Here's my precious little angel Ryan using a brand new kit from Gypsy Couture called GENTLE MORNING.  The alphas are from Lisa's FREE BY THE SEA kit and I just love the soft colours and beautiful elements Lisa has come up with this week.  Both of these kits are from The Digi Chick.

Here's a pic of my youngest on his first birthday back in April 2006.  Ain't his eyelashes just the longest you've ever seen?  Both the boys have these divine lashes!  This kit was so kindly given to me by Lina of LDrag Designs and it's a recent release of hers FOR JOHN and it's just perfect for my darling boys to be scrapped with!  Lina's stores are at Scrappity Doo Dah and DSO if you wanted to check her kit out.

And here's a little hybrid project I did tonight for my DS4 and I've filled it with little Easter eggs.

I've joined Kelleigh Ratzlaff's CT to help show off all her gorgeous templates and boxes.  You can check out all Kelleigh's designs at The Digi Chick.  That little Easter egg basket I posted a couple of days back was one of Kelleigh's templates too.  She provides you with a digital template that you can use in your program to clip papers to it and them print, cut and assemble.  But you can also print off an outline template to cut out and keep and that way you can trace it onto your patterned papers so they're great for both digi and/or paper scrappers!

Kelleigh is also the editor for the DST Insider, she's on a number of fab CT's including Jen Wilson, Bella Scraps and is also on The Hybrid Chick team with me, so she pops up everywhere!

I'd say that this is my most recent favourite layout that I've created.  It came out so beautifully and I have to say Caryn, for a new designer, you're just doing great if you keep churning out kits like this stunner!

Color With Caryn's store finally open at ESS!

Woo hoo!  Caryn, who some of you may recognise from Snap & Scrap, has officially launched her new store at Enchanted Studio Scraps and I'm on her CT doing a bit of digi but mainly hybrid for her.  I was flattered that Caryn asked Pene and myself to help her out on the hybrid front and it's great to see she already has a few products in her new store, so stop on by and check things out.  Also make sure you check out Caryn's blog post today for some more freebies and goodies.

This is one of my most recent favourites that I've created for this weeks Saturday Special challenge at ScrapMatters.  I've used JUSTIN and RUSTED PAPER kits from Dirty Feet Designs and SAVE THE DATE from Simply Sweet Designs.  These are all available at ScrapMatters.  The fonts are Tall Paul and Rochester.  Monique (aka monsu) issued this week's challenge which was to scrap a storyboard of photos in your layout.  I just love these stamp frames which provided the perfect opportunity to show my sequence of pics of Ryan swimming.

Design Star round 2

Here's my PLUMBERRY JAM paper pack submission for Round 2 of the Design Star comp at ScrapMatters.  There's 25 entrants still in the running to get an apprentice gig with SM, so I hope I learn a little about designing from this fab experience and maybe earn myself a spot along the way.

Isn't the best thing about being on a holiday, the sleeping?  I'd take it wherever I could get it after a hard day of sightseeing and driving! Just take a look at my two darling boys who were absolutely worn out by a day in Port Douglas at The Rainforestation. We got to walk the boardwalks and have lunch with the birds and take in some of the native animals. Ryan found an eagle's feather while Toby chose to buy a koala's nose from the souvineer shop!  Ah....the joys of travelling with kids.  June 2008
