Here's my PLUMBERRY JAM paper pack submission for Round 2 of the Design Star comp at ScrapMatters. There's 25 entrants still in the running to get an apprentice gig with SM, so I hope I learn a little about designing from this fab experience and maybe earn myself a spot along the way.
If you want to download my kit, or any of the other paper packs this week, head on over the ScrapMatters Gallery to the Design Star Round 2 Gallery, log in (register first if you haven't already) and download away. This week, you can see we don't have a number as our ID - we are all using our designer names now so you'll be able to find your favourites easily. Next week, we're desigining some elements, maybe they have to coordinate with this paper pack, but we haven't been given that info just yet, so can't wait to find out what's next!
Here's a couple more layouts I have done using some kits from ScrapMatters:
This one is for this weeks Tuesday Template Challenge hosted by Linz and she has created this fab template which you can download here. I have used URBAN BOY and ITTY BITTY ALPHA CHIPS from Designs by Tater, JUSTIN from Dirty Feet Designs and the font is SA Inkspot.
Journalling reads:
Toby, you are always willing to stop and let
Mummy take a photo of you. Just look at how happy and gorgeous you are
in these photos I took in March 2007 when you were 4 years old. You
were on the swings and then playing with Skye and you just let your
happy personality shine on through.
And here is a layout using ENJOY THE JOURNEY which is the free kit that came with this month's ScrapMatters newsletter. It's a collab between WM[Squared] and Dirty Feet Designs. Make sure you sign on to receive their fab newsletter on the top of their blog. If you happen to have missed receiving the March newsletter, you can go to this blog post and download it.
My journalling reads:
Isn't the best thing about being on a holiday, the sleeping? I'd take it wherever I could get it after a hard day of sightseeing and driving! Just take a look at my two darling boys who were absolutely worn out by a day in Port Douglas at The Rainforestation. We got to walk the boardwalks and have lunch with the birds and take in some of the native animals. Ryan found an eagle's feather while Toby chose to buy a koala's nose from the souvineer shop! Ah....the joys of travelling with kids. June 2008
