Not long ago I decided to go and use Blogger as my regular blog because it's free and I don't have to pay the $13 or so each month but Blogger obviously doesn't have the customer service and support that a paid service like Typepad has so I'm coming back to this blog again. I cannot import my few years of posts from this blog over to Blogger and I haven't gotten anywhere with their customer service finding a solution as to why it won't work and if I close this blog, years of my posts and images will be gone....forever. I already lost my original old Blogger blog before I headed to Typepad, so seeing as Typepad is excellent with any issue and their features function much better than Bloggers do, I'm coming back. Probably lost a few Followers along the way, but for the small monthly fee I pay Typepad, I know that I can use all the features easily and get any support I need quickly too!
So anyways, let's see what I've scrapped this week.
Paula Kesselring has been guesting at Digiridoo Scraps for this month and has released these fabulous FACIAL EXPRESSIONS which I used in this page!
And after a bit of a hiatus, Sarah of Sarah Barber Design is back in full swing again with this amazing URBAN STYLE kit that was just released today. I just adore her vintage style and used a really old family photograph which worked perfectly with this kit.
I joined in the November Progressive Scrap at Digiridoo Scraps and created this page using the November store collaboration HOME SPUN which you can pick up for free if you spend $10 or more in November!
And Lina of LDrag Designs has released a gorgeous new kit called SWEET NOVEMBER. She is currently guesting at The Digi Chick so you can find this and a couple of other goodies of hers there for now. This is my pooch Molly hiding under my computer desk as she can see out onto the street where all the action is (dogs walking by every few minutes)! But today I found she's chewed right through my darn printer cable and it was red hot. My Mac disconnected it from the computer so it must have known that something was up as it won't read to the printer. Have some spare ones luckily and the other day my CD player/clock on my desk started moving as she was trying to chew that one too! The little bugger eats anything and everything she can get her hands onto!
I've got a Christmas lunch to go to tomorrow that my fabulous personal trainer/aqua aerobics instructor is hosting so that should be lovely to meet some of her other clients. I've so far lost 12 kilograms since I started with Suzanne in March this year and want to lose another 15kgs. I've done really well to date not tracking what I eat anymore and being able to lose a small amount each week which is wonderful but with the silly season approaching, I've scoffed down some jaffas and chocolates that I'm supposed to be using to make the kids Christmas gifts to give to their classmates, basketball buddies and teachers. We're supposed to be making them on Sunday along with setting up the Christmas tree and decorating the house so I've put the jaffas away and hoping I don't have the urge to eat as many as what I've had last night and today!!! I wanna keep going with my healthy eating as I feel so much better and need to go buy a lot more clothes seeing my big baggy bummed trackie dacks look horrible on me now! I don't have any official 'before' pics of me that I took with a side on view but there's a few ugly shots from earlier this year of me sitting. Everyone keeps saying I've lost weight off my face but I can't quite tell. I'm feeling it in my boobs, bum and tummy so thought I'd put these 'before' pics up so that I can see what I don't want to go back to again. These were taken from earlier this year so now I need to get a nice shot of me now to be able to see the changes!
Anyways, I think that's all I've got for now as I need to get back to studying up on how to use Photoshop! I know enough about how to scrap with it but within the graphic design world, think there's lots more I don't use that I need to know about!
