My poor old Digital Creations blog has been severely neglected for some time and I do pay for my Typepad blog, so thought if I could successfully import it across to Blogger, there's no reason why I shouldn't come back as that's where my blog originally started from. But for some reason, I'm getting an error message so the Blogger peeps are checking it out for me. For now, I've got a bit of work to do to get this blog looking all pretty along with getting my galleries and linky-dinks all imported nicely so I don't lose what I've blogged at Typepad for the past few years. I do want to get back into blogging regularly, but with starting to study in July this year, I don't get anywhere near as much time to play around on the internet, so sadly my blogging had died right off because of that. But I am still scrapping for Digiridoo Scraps and a number of other fabulous designers, but I just don't get around to posting what I've done on the old bloggity-blog! I've got assignments, assessments, tests, reading, research coming out my ears for my graphic design studies and I'm so glad I'm a digital scrapper as a lot of this stuff is just second-nature to me. I'm currently working on typography and it's great fun to learn about fonts and design and composition.
And back in April, I decided to get back into a healthy lifestyle by exercising more regularly and changing my really, really bad eating habits. When I get stressed, I eat and I eat so much of the wrong stuff, it's gonna kill me one of these days. And my boys are not learning the best of healthy living from me at all. But with the help of Suzanne from Aquatone Personal Training, I've been doing really well. Taking two of Suzanne's aqua aerobics classes each week, plus walking Molly who is so fit and fast, doing one personal training session on land a week with Suzanne and then trying to fit in some daily metabolism booster exercises as well. Sounds like a lot but I need it and it's helping me to feel fitter both physically and mentally. The kids are loving that I'm doing so much more and enjoy joining in with my exercise most times! So it will surely benefit them in the long-run as takeaway and fast food has become the norm for them because of the poor choices I have made in the past. I am tracking daily what I eat, drink and do so it helps you to get a much clearer picture of what you eat and how much you can eat to still maintain a slow weightloss amount. Have lost 8.2kgs since I started around the end of April this year and want to lose just under another 20kgs, so it will be a nice, slow process that I hopefully can maintain a lot longer than I've done so in the past. I got to my lifetime goal of 70kgs just before I got pregnant with my first born son and since then, my weight has just gone up and up and I was nearly on 100kgs which I've never, ever been! Had to stop and take stock of what I was doing to my body.
Oh and it was my birthday today and I went to the first Aqua Gymstick class that Suzanne had run and she took a photo of me and my Mummy who has joined me in these classes and PT sessions.

So let me see if I can remember how to use Blogger and post some of my recently digital pages over here. None of these images are linked as I need to come back and do that but hopefully if you click on them, they'll enlarge for you to read any journalling.
So let's see if this posts and I haven't wasted half an hour typing for nothing!
