Too much to do in a day and not enough time to blog or blog-hop!! Both my kids are in school as of this year so you'd think I'd have 6 hours of bliss to sit and do some scrappin' but alas, the shopping, housework, exercise and the like still need to be done so that's the best time to get stuck into them!
We got a new poochie a couple of months back - Molly who is a Staffie X. We adopted her from a local animal shelter and she's a ball of energy. Walking is like power walking to Molly so she's keeping me and the boys on our toes.
I am going back to school to do an online Diploma in Commercial Arts (Graphic Design) as of the 18th July. It's 2 years part time but I hope to finish it earlier than that if I can get more studying done each week. I need to do something for myself and stimulate my brain which is fried from having two kiddos and I love all the subjects covered in graphic design so hoping I'll enjoy completing it.
The kiddos are on 2 weeks school holidays as of today so it's gonna be fun trying to occupy them without them killing each other...or me for that matter! We're still dealing with my eldest's crazy temper and erratic behaviour so hope it doesn't escalate again when he says how bored he is first thing tomorrow morning. At least with school, they are stimulated and occupied for a full day but when they come home, all they want to do is fight and eat. The little buggers!
I've also been on Weight Watchers since the end of April and have lost 8 kilos so far....want to lose about 27 in total so it's gonna be a long ride but with walking the pooch and doing two water aerobics classes a week, it's coming off faster than I thought. I love Suzanne who is our instructor and she's got me all motivated and enthusiastic to keep moving and give up my addiction of Coca Cola! I was drinking way too much along with stuffing myself full of sugar with chocolates, cakes, sweets and anything else I could scoff, so it's been a clean slate with only the odd can of Diet Coke now.....no more 2 litres of Coke a day stuff going on here.
I also got myself an Apple Mac computer - a 21inch iMac - on the recommendation of lots of online buddies who swear by them. I've never used a Mac before so it's taken a bit to get used to how they work as compared to a PC but it's nice having a big screen rather than a laptop again and it's so much faster than the old laptop! It will come in handy when I start my studies with the big memory and fast hard drive.
And I've got a mountain of layouts to post to the blog that somehow I don't think are going to be posted, so if you want to see what I've been up to, check out my Gallery at DigiShop Talk. Thought I'd put a few here just to show you I am alive and still scrapping daily!
