Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements for a layout titled 'Love that little devil inside you'. Toby looked so cute (or scary) dressed up as a bat for Kindergym Halloween day in Oct'05.
Week 1 layout completed in Renae Pearson's Doing It Digi class BPS Oct06
Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements following a tutorial I found that shows how to clip photos to fit a circular clipping mask. Photos taken at Werribee Open Range Zoo - Ryan had his face painted at the Rhythym of Africa Twilight sessions in Feb'07.
Layout completed using Jessica Sprague's Photoshop Friday tutorial #15. Photos taken at Hannah's 4th birthday party in April'07.
Created this for a tag and pocket I made at May's Crop 'Til You Drop. Angel wings are created from a brush I downloaded off www.deviantart.com
This layout was taken from a lesson in Computer Tricks For Scrapbookers by Jessica Sprague and it worked really well. Want to be able to create photo montages to post on my blog when I've got lots of photos so this is how I'll do it in the future!...
Created in July 2007 using tutorial #26 from Jessica Sprague's Photoshop Friday tutorials. Main focus of the tutorial was creating a scalloped frame around the photos...
This digital layout was completed in July 2007 and is inspired by a Rhonna Farrer layout published in a 2 Peas newsletter and using mainly Rhonna digital products I'd bought from 2 Peas. Love this Raspberry Fizz range - the colours are just divine! Sally's blue eyes are just stunning in a larger version of this photo...
This is from Jessica Sprague's "Up & Running with Photoshop" week 1 tutorial. Very simple layout which was mostly complete before we started on it. We added the title, date, journalling, photo and cut out the circle/star from another piece of patterned paper and added it to our layout. Love the colours and found a perfect photo to match it. These tutorials are all video ones which make it so easy to learn and Jessica is just brilliant!
Week 1, Assignment 1 from Jessica Sprague's 'Up and Running With Photoshop' course. A simple ready-made template that we added journalling to and a photo which we'd converted to black and white. This is my son Ryan with one of his playgroup friends Amy. Just makes you go aaaahhhhh......
Second layout completed in Jessica Sprague's 'Up & Running With Photoshop' course in Oct07. Added brushes, title, circles around date and journalling.
Layout uses a fave photo of mine I took in October 2006 and it has been altered with a vintagy feel in Photoshop Elements (think I got the tutorial for this from Jessica Sprague). I have used a layout template by Jen Caputo (www.jencaputo.typepad.com) and added papers and a few elements from a Vera Lim (www.scrapbookbytes.com) Joyful Days collection. Added some drop shadows for effect and an old vintage photo frame too.
This layout uses a Jen Caputo template (www.jencaputo.typepad.com) and the August 2007 Free Pea kit from Two Peas (www.twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com). Love the kraft paper with the green, black and white...very simple yet elegant layout if I must say so!
Layout completed from Week 3 of Jessica Sprague's "Up & Running With Photoshop" class October 2007.
This is week 1 layout from Jessica Sprague's "Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop" class, an intermediate class delving into PSE. Absolutely love this layout - has so much detail but it was not hard at all to create these effects and we were given some fantastic digital elements to work with too!
Paper & flowers by Jessica Sprague from Festa Mini Kit, 'Shaving' alphas from Digital Design Essentials (Gina Cabrera), photo frames around the first and last photo by Rhonna Farrer (Vintage News from 2 Peas), the word 'cream' in the heading is My Christmas Stocking Alpha (colour changed) from 2 Sisters Designs at Scrapartist. Photo block is a trapezoid photo block using the Polyagonal Lassoo Tool.
Papers by Jessica Sprague. The word 'shy' uses Anthology font downloaded for free from www.dafont.com and the word 'boy' is from Katie Pertiet 'Snap Frame Alpha'.
Created this layout using a free digital kit we were given in our Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop class with Jessica Sprague. The designers at Sweet Shoppe Designs provided it exclusively for all the members of the class so you cannot purchase it and there were so many goodies in it. We were challenged to make a layout using items in the kit which I did. I started with a template by Jen Caputo but changed it around a little to suit my photos.
8.5x11 inch digi layout. What I started with was following a tutorial by Jessica Sprague to alter part of the photo outside of the frame to a less saturated and more vintage colour than the rest of the photo inside of the frame. Then I found one of my kits and started playing. I'ved used a kit by designer Lindsay Jane and kit is called 'Woodstock' from Scrapbook-Bytes. The swirls behind the photo are made using PSE cookie cutter tool.
This is a quick page by Rina Kroes. Dropped this photo in of my parents for the 40th wedding anniversary on 17th Feb 2008.
Melissa Bennett Designs "Lil Aviator" kit (ribbon), Michelle Coleman "Wild Sorbet" kit (paper & wordart), Amber Clegg "Stamped Hearts Take II" (hearts), Bunny Cates "Luxurious Stickpin" (stickpin), Lindsay Jane Designs (scalloped frame) & Anna from DWD (postage stamp).
Layout from Jessica Sprague's Now We're Rockin' With Photoshop class. This layout used so many things I hadn't used properly in the past so now have a better understanding of like the burn tool to get the edges of the orange paper looking a bit more grungy and also the graph note paper. Plus that white flower/graph transparency in the background as originally an aqua colour and we sort of reversed the effect to get no colour where the original aqua was and ended with more of an outline of the flower design. So it's a fairly complicated layout when you look at all the bits it comprises of but it was not hard at all.
Credits for this layout go to Weeds & Wildflowers 'Lazy Days' and 'Cherishing Every Moment' kits. I only recently discovered W&W and they make some absolutely gorgeous kits with loads of doodles, flowers, grunge and what-not. I have used a template for this layout from L Kannady aka laurakaye, a Prima Hybrid CT Member. I flipped it around 90 degrees and took off the flowers and journalling strips to leave the main paper layout part. Templates are just wonderful to give you a kick-start to your layout.
I love these pics of the kids all goofing around together! Tried to get a serious shot of them but to no avail! I think these turned out better in the end and Sally & Amy look gorgeous too with their windswept hair and stunning blue eyes! The credits for this layout are:
Fancy Hearts Club kit by Lliella Designs
Glitter in my Pockets gold glitter alpha by Meredith Fenwick
Template 18-3 by Jen Caputo
This is a layout using a kit by Netmaus from Scrapladies called "Allesandra". We were sent a sample of the kit and challenged to make a layout which will go up in the forum and the one with the most votes will win a spot on their CT. I'm sure I'll have no chance but it will be fun to participate anyway!
This is layout 1 from an advanced Photoshop class by Jessica Sprague called "Digi : In Deep". All items were provided in the class and come from designers such as Jen Wilson and Katie Pertiet.
This was an 8.5x11 inch layout I created using Shabby Miss Jenn's "Weedy" freebie. I've added a couple of other SMJ elements and a grungy photo mat from Gina Cabrera. This photo features my late grandparents on the right. Not sure when the pic was taken but guessing somewhere in the 1930's or thereabouts.

Created using a template and Little Treats kit by Veronica Hurly from Snap & Scrap. Font is Century Gothic.
Created using Sunshine Studio Scraps "Walking on sunshine" kit and "Butterfly Kisses" frame by Rhonna Farrer from 2 Peas In A Bucket.
This layout has been created with Veronica Hurly's "Trocadero Collection" from www.godigitalscrapbooking.com. I've also used template 14-4 from Jen Caputo and played around with the photo in PSE to give it a faded and textured look.
The kit has come from Veronica Hurly as part of the May Birdsnest Challenge #4 in the Snap & Scrap forum. I have also added some other elements to the layout.

I entered into a challenge at SMJ's blog and actually won! I used this layout to document some of my feelings about my separation in November 2006. I haven't actually written down how I really feel so this was in some ways quite therapeutic. We're still amicable but it's hard work being a single Mum with two boys under five.
All SMJ products which includes:
Love Shack
Flea Market Studio from Scrap in Style TV (braid & screw)
Little Dudes (chain)
Paper Folded Trashed

I submitted this layout to a Songbird Avenue blog scraplift challenge using their "Take Flight" kit available for May 2008.
In case you can't read my journalling it reads:
My little bubby Ryan trying to crawl. You were so much fun to watch, and look at how happy you were that you could hold yourself up!
