Look at where technology and music have come over the years. These are some of my favourite vinyl LP’s from the 80’s and 90’s. Still got them all but have no record player to play them on! But I’m hanging onto them as momentos of my influences. Music has played such a big part in my life, especially in my teenage years. I was crazy for all sorts of music ranging from rock to new wave to hip hop. I used to go to so many concerts, stake out bands arriving at the airport, queue up the night before when concert tickets went on sale and plastered my bedroom and school books with any pictures and posters I could find. I’d sit and listen to my tapes and albums for hours, even going to the extent of transcribing the words from my favourite songs. Just a part of me that hasn’t changed, as I still love my music, although I hear a little too much of The Wiggles these days having two boys of my own now!
