This is an ATC that I made way back last November at a scrapbooking retreat. I love the colour of this steampunk-themed paper from Graphic 45 but this little blighter went missing on me. Once I got home and unpacked, I looked high and low for it and could not find it. In the end I thought someone must have picked it up by mistake in their scrapping goodies or I'd dropped it while packing up as it was nowhere to be found. Well, last week, I'm walking past a small armchair we don't use all that often and something caught my eye! It was my darn ATC poking out of the back of it as it had been where I unpacked my bags and had fallen down the back of the cushion! It was exactly the same colour as the cushion so you couldn't really see it and luckily nobody had squashed it when they were sitting on the couch! And I'm so glad I found it because I don't make too many of these and I love this one.
I added a touch of bling with the turquoise gemstones and rubbed some copper foil paper onto the edges and across the card to give it a well-worn look. I also doodled on the card and retraced some of the images to give them a little more depth. The word 'unique' is from Collections.
And here are some of my art journalling pages from my Moleskine journal. They're all still works-in-progress although today I've worked on one and added the journalling so will take a picture of that once I've finished it and it's dry.
Some of the collage pieces including the image of the vintage bride below are from Sarah Barber Design COLLAGE v.1 @ Digiridoo Scraps whilst the others are from my stash. I've added some doodling with Posca Paint Pens. The backgrounds were mainly created with acrylic paint, Caran D'Ache NeoColor II crayons and sprays (Tim Holtz and Glimmermist). The last page below is gessoed first and I've made lots of texture marks in it. Still playing and learning!
