First I must say GO PIES!!!! Yes, we won, we won and are through to the AFL semis next week...can't wait to see how we go against the Eagles but after tonight's ripper performance, we'd be in for a great chance....we had a Footy Party tonight with the DeYoung family - hot dogs, sausage rolls, lollies and more....but the kids didn't really make it to watch the start of the footy as they were all a bit hyped up on lollies I think....so early to bed for both of them...and little over half an hour ago, Toby's decided to bring most of it up in his bed so I've just put a load of washing on and he's gone back to sleep...if it's not one kid, it's the other (Ryan had his turn on Thursday just gone)...why us I always ask!!
Well, after cleaning up Toby's bed, thought I'd so some quick blog-hopping and checked out Linda Albrecht's blog and here's some of the layouts she's posted recently - they just have this unique, warm and beautiful feel to them don't they?
And I've officially kicked off our first circle journal group - there's 10 of us in it and we've just organised our albums and sizes and now it's up to each of us to cover our album, choose a topic and scrap the first layout in the album before we do our first swap to the next person in the circle. In 10 months, our own album will come back to each of us with a layout scrapped by each person in the circle so this should be heaps of fun. Found this pic of a circle journal going around that Kim Archer has done for Julie Love....
And I was checking out Janelle Wind's blog the other day and she's done these gorgeous felt bags which are gift bags for her daughter's birthday party...
and these are the invitations that she did for the party made from fabric (how adorable!)..
.
Have done a little scrapbooking lately - just finished one of Donna Loughnan's kits - the July one which uses some yummy My Mind's Eye "Tres Jolie" papers...have two of her kits here for sale for $29.95 if anyone is interested and my layouts from the kit are here to view too! Used photos of the kids swimming at the local pool in Dec 2005...so nothing much for me to post but plenty of other works of art as you can see from this post, by checking out a few blogs! Nighty-night!!!
