OMG, what an exciting game last night...sat in front of the TV screaming and yelling as it was so close and to start with, such a low scoring game which is exactly what you want in a final...or maybe not as I was sure I was going to have a heart attack at the end when it got so close! Well, there was about 2 minutes left in the game and it was point for point, then Ryan decides to start vomiting in my bed (yes again)...so wacked the recorder on, ran down and stripped him, cleaned up the bed and left him lying on the bean bag in my room, ran out to the TV and it's finished in a bloody draw! Amazing, so time for two extra 5 minute quarters...10 minutes more of sitting on the edge of my seat again...well, this time we cleaned up the Eagles and if we win against Geelong next Friday night, we're in to the Grand Final!!!! Cannot wait, and have a crop night scheduled for next Friday, so for all of you coming, you'll need to have your black and white stripes on or NO ADMITTANCE!!!! Plus there'll be a clear spot in front of the TV to watch the big match...sorry, but maybe not much scrapping being done on my part. Anyway, Ryan's had this nasty cough for a few days plus a snotty nose and he went to a party yesterday, so think his little episode was just lots of phlegm in his chest as he slept through the rest of the night after that.
And for everyone that knows I've been ill on and off for over 12 months now, I might be getting somewhere - FINALLY...after so many visits to GP's who keep sending me home saying I've got gastro...I can't possibly be getting gastro every 4-6 weeks so have had a couple of tests done which came back normal then yesterday saw a specialist who is going to do a gastroscopy and a colonoscopy in the next fortnight. He said if I had irritable bowel syndrome (which is what the GP thinks I have) that I shouldn't be vomiting as well as having diarroea all the time. So the specialist is going to take some biopsies from my upper bowel and check for Crones and Celiac's disease and anything else that could be a problem and have a good look around. He did a check yesterday of the lower bowel (not a good visual, but someone's got to do it!) and said it all looks fine so not sure if there's anything obvious that he'll find but if the scopes are all clear, I'll be diagnosed with IBS which will be hard to manage as stress and diet are the major factors in causing that. So at least I'm getting some progress on the doctors front as I'm so sick of being ill for a week at a time and then getting it back a few weeks later. This week, I was down and out from Monday to Thursday. Last night I had major stomach ache all night but my tummy/bowel has settled and I've been eating okay. So fingers crossed I can get my scopes done before another flare-up....on top of this, I seem to be dealing with never-ending sessions of vomiting from the boys so our washing machine has certainly been on overload for weeks now.
