Sorry for no updates to all my avid blog-readers!!! Sonia and Al [edited to add "& Mum too"], you've been looking I know but this weeks just flown by with a class and two crops and trying to catch up from being away at Phillip Island last weekend. So thought I'd share some of the pics taken at Donna's retreat with you.

So after arriving Friday night, Naomi and I roomed together but didn't get to bed until 4am! We then got up at 7.30am on Sat morning so were very very tired for the rest of Saturday. We went to bed about 1.30am on Sat night then I skipped breakky and got up at 10am on Sunday. I did a little chat on Friday night about digital scrapbooking which I hope the girls got some insight into. I didn't get a hell of a lot of scrapbooking done over the weekend but I got out of the house and got to spend it with some great ladies. Jacquie broke the all-time record of scrapbooking around 30 layouts across the weekend. I just chatted too much and watched what everyone else was doing! The conference centre was fantastic, fabulous food, great accommodation, great views and really good company. You'll see from these pics that there was a Giant Swing outside as the resort was an adventure park also with high ropes courses, etc. The swing was 18 metres high and you got harnessed up and hoisted up by a rope. At the top, you pulled a rope and it let you free-fall down and you swung until you stopped back at the bottom again. It was a terrible feeling free-falling and you'll see from my pics how bloody high up you went each time you swung! Yuk....I couldn't stop shaking for ages afterwards but it was bloody freezing and it rained while we were out there so that wouldn't have helped. But Donna did a fantastic job of organising the weekend away and we all want to go to the next one next year! So thanks Donna for making such an event come to life! Hugs all around..... You'll see a little Yahoo Groups icon on my right-hand sidebar and if you wish to join this group, we've set one up to discuss and share things from the retreat. I'm sure we'll just chat about general scrapbooking stuff, so please feel free to sign up for Yahoo if you haven't already done so.
